We include advice on how to apply for a specialist registrar training post, taking the potential trainee through the usual application, short listing and interview processes. Mock interview questions are available as well as links to further sources of information on the internet. We also provide a sample career path, from medical school to completion of specialist training, and a list of all the approved UK radiology training schemes.

The SRT has assembled several pages of advice including recommended background reading, how to assess a consultant post, preparing your curriculum vitae, who to see after short-listing, handling the interview and sample interview questions. These training resources are available free to registered members.
